Quonset Hut with Integrated Office Build-Out

Shelter Solutions completed a renovation and interior modernization of a 40′ × 100′ × 20′ insulated Quonset hut facility, upgrading the structure to support both operational workspace and administrative functions within a clear-span environment. The Quonset hut’s arched steel design provides a column-free interior, maximizing usable floor space while allowing integration of suspended ceilings and lighting systems.
The project included installation of two prefabricated interior office modules and a conference room, creating dedicated administrative workspace within the hangar environment without reducing operational floor area.
Exterior Improvements
· Replacement of deteriorated end-wall sections with new panelized wall systems
· Upgraded access openings - including large north & south openings
· 9′ × 10′ roll-up door
· New insulated personnel doors

This renovation demonstrates our ability to upgrade existing steel structures with integrated office space, improved access openings, and paint booth ventilation enhancements that expand the functionality of existing facilities.
